Wouldn’t it be nice to minimize the need for field service technicians and reduce the need for residential water maintenance? With the Capstone WM110-X Wireless Water Meter it’s now possible. WM110–X is the world’s first fully–functional residential water meter capable of communicating water readings and control valve functions wirelessly. Complete with an attached battery charger, the wireless water meter is capable of utilizing all high–power wireless platforms, including Wi–Fi, cellular, 400 Mhz, 900 Mhz waves and other licensed bands. No matter where the water meter is located, even in rural areas, this long–range wireless technology allows for remote electronic valve control at anytime. Easily installed with a standard 5/8” connection, maintenance and adjustments become a thing of the past. The meter is equipped with long–life, rechargeable batteries and a self–calibrating computer chip that measures water pressure and logs water usage history. Should a leak occur or a water main burst, the wireless water meter is equipped with an alarm feature that will send a notification signal back to a central monitoring operation.
